Ernst B. Westman Ltd was founded in London in 1887, by the present managing director's great grandfather Ernst Bianco Westman, an expert in the Swedish iron industry who represented Swedish iron and steel mills in Great Britain.
From its inception to the present day, the company has concentrated on importing special steels and metals for engineering, electronic and electrical industries.
In addition, the company is a recognised leader in the supply of molybdenum, tungsten and other metals to foundries, railways and the heat treatment industry.
